Could you be part of our forthcoming First-Time Fund Manager Incubator?
We're excited to announce our pilot incubator for first-time fund managers. We are seeking three organisations to join our 18-month programme starting in Autumn 2023.
With tailored support and grants, this bespoke training will enable Black and Minoritised-led fund managers to raise their first Investment fund.
First-time fund managers face multiple barriers in launching a fund. These can be more acute for those from a Black and Minoritised background. According to a 2021 analysis by Bloomberg, less than 1% of asset managers in the UK identify as Black. As a new impact investment wholesaler focused on racial equity, Pathway Fund wants to unlock that investment sooner. We want to increase the amount of capital managed by diverse-led organisations.
Pathway Fund’s ambition is to be a long-term partner to fund managers supporting Black and Minoritised communities. Through this pilot, we will explore the best ways of working and supporting these organisations, ultimately empowering our wider community.
If you’d like to find out more about the programme, please register your interest here. We will inform you when we announce further details.
