Our Advocacy

  • Our Supporters' Network

We have a large network of supporters - the nature of our work meaning that we work with those across the spectrum. We operate independently and with those who want to see the opportunity offered by Blackened Ethnically Minoritised social enterprise harnessed. As a result, that network is growing, at pace, it being the case that we are always keen to hear from those that share our aims. If you want to learn more, then do email public.affairs@pathwayfund.org.uk.

  • Our Events

We’re pleased to have been able to hold and participate in a key, sectoral, events, since 2022. We’ve attended all three main UK party conferences, have spoken at fringe events, in Parliament, and even within bodies like the United Nations. We speak at other key sector leading conferences, like the Next Frontiers Conference, held by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation and have even been pleased to join with other sector leaders at key meetings in Government.

  • Our Policy

We have access to a pool of some 1,000 Black and Ethnically Minoritised charities and social enterprises. We’ve been progressing four programmes - and have even more in the pipeline, too. We’re beginning to now see the impact of that work and can begin writing nation-changing policy, as a result. Our policy work looks to carry forward the recommendations made by the Adebowale Commission on Social Investment, which saw Pathway’s very birth, be deemed a necessary reality, for the sector.

Our Partners

  • The Community Enterprise Growth Plan

We’re proud to be supporters of the Community Enterprise Growth Plan - a proposal, supported by many in the sector, which would create jobs, boost growth and support levelling up by unlocking new investment for community enterprises, particularly those in ‘left behind’ places.

  • The Future Economy Alliance

We’re also proud members of the Future Economy Alliance - a body uniting champions of change across business sectors working to build a stronger, fairer, greener economic climate for the UK. We represent activists, entrepreneurs, investors and business leaders who understand that profit must also benefit people and planet.

  • Social Enterprise UK

We partner with Social Enterprise UK - the UK's membership body for social enterprises. It leads the world’s largest network of businesses with a social purpose, working to create a fairer economy and a more sustainable future. It offers a strong voice for social enterprise, demonstrating the difference that the sector makes for the UK’s economy.
