We want Black and Ethnic Minoritised-led organisations to have greater and better access to finance, helping them to grow and scale, in turn, driving positive and sustainable social impact. Our objective is to cultivate equitable, inclusive, economic growth in the UK.

We use social investment. Social investment is the use of repayable finance to help an organisation achieve a social purpose.

We’re an impact investor. Impact investing involves the making of for-profit investments to help create beneficial social or environmental effects.

We’re a wholesaler, which means that we sit at the start of the food-chain, making decisions about which fund managers should obtain our support, given the impact that they’re having on their target cohorts. And we’re dedicated to using that finance, to drive the growth of Black and Ethnically Minoritised communities.

Using social investment and acting as a social investment wholesaler, therefore, we are working to push for racial justice, creating an economy in which Black and Ethnically Minoritised communities have the dignity, resources, power and self-determination to thrive.
