We are an impact investment wholesaler dedicated to catalysing opportunities for Black and Ethnically Minoritised communities across the UK

We envision a society where Black & Ethnic Minority communities have the freedom to shape their futures, fuelled by investment as a tool for inclusive growth and community wealth building.

Pathway Fund was founded to address the UK investment ecosystem’s structural inequalities head-on. We are the UK's first Black and Ethnic Minoritised (BEM)-led impact investment wholesaler. As a wholesaler, we act in accordance with our 4 key roles and deliver to 3 focus areas, to disrupt traditional power dynamics and to engender systemic change.

  • Leading the conversation on shifting systems of power

  • Providing bespoke & subsidised capital to BEM-led organisations, via intermediaries & fund managers, to make it more affordable & accessible to organisations underserved by the existing infrastructure

  • Bridging gaps between communities, finance & policy makers; advocating for systems change; holding institutions & structures accountable

  • Using research & data to build the case for racial equity investing

  • Resourcing capacity building at both enterprise & intermediary levels; using endowment investment policy to build the case for racial equity investment in the mainstream; & continuing our capacity & knowledge building work.

  • Building a range of funding options to provide the right type of capital at the right time.

  • Catalyse intergenerational & community wealth creation through investments in community assets, housing, for-profit enterprises etc.

Thank you to our founding sponsors and organisations for their continued support

We are proud to support the Community Enterprise Growth Plan and to be part of the Future Economy Alliance
